Tough Goblin…..Not!

Not much happening this weekend with the crew. Ay got himself side-tracked, went off and ran through some old Outland dungeons looking for some rare drop BS pattern. Guess he got tired of valor farming.

Early Sat. evening, Dufit put in a bid at the BMAH for one of those Blood Soaked Invitations to the Brawler’s Guild. Much to his surprise, this mornings mail contained the invitation! And it only cost him 1,653 gold 😀

Yay! Actually got one

So, that tough little blood-thirsty goblin made headway to Org., as fast as his stubby legs and floppy ears could take him. The early results are in. (Watch the kind words in the chat box)

It only took a partial second to die horribly.

Twice. And they don’t like corpses just laying about.

Okaaay. It did not go well. And after watching a few other matchs going on at higher levels, Dufit is beginning to doubt his skills. He’ll be needing a new improved plan of attack. LOL!  And everyone told him Bruce was easy :s

Dufit and the Sha

YAY! Dufit finally got to try his first Sha of Anger fight this afternoon.

Most of the group seemed fairly experienced with the fight, so things went pretty good near as I could tell. To Dufits’ credit….he DID’NT DIE! Not even once. It fact, he managed to avoid most all the bad stuffs, adds and such. What did find him got VT’d quickly while he moved well away, lol. Only once did he have to take a moment to burn down one persistant add.

It was very hectic to say the least, and I had a bit of lag going on. But all in all, it was a great experience I really enjoyed doing.

Sorry about not having more screenies of the fight itself. Being my first really big fight it was a little hectic, lol. But here’s a couple I did manage, along with some happy rewards! (pst….sorry about all the line-outs as well. I did not know any of these people in the group, or if they would approve)

So, Dufit enjoyed this afternoon’s adventure. Got some really good loot for a change. Although he didn’t die, he does need to work on his dps a bit. LOL! I think everybody except a few healers did better.

“The Final Power”  This is a tough one for Dufit, so far. He’s got dead more than a few times trying to complete this quest. lol, about 8 times before I pulled the plug on his attempts for a breather! And that’s something like about 75 gold in repairs so far. What can we say? Cloth armor doesn’t hold up very well in times like these.

hmmm? he’s got a bit of health going on.

They say the trick is in using the spears against him.

During on attempt, Dufit actually managed to avoid the lightning long enough to get this guy down to 50% health. Even with the Crane’s wing buff, this is a tough one. That lightning gets ominous, going in both directions at times. And it does hit hard. VERY HARD!  And if you miss getting one of his spears….lots of damage as well.

Maybe a break will smooth things out. Maybe this guy will be tired a few hours from now. Maybe Dufit is going to die a lot more!!!
