C’mon guys! I only need a little more.
Okay, so the goats are getting a little picky about being used for steaks. I don’t think they’re particulary fond of the Tiller Chefs at the moment.
In other news: Dufit is really trying to take the plunge into LFR. Guardians of Mogushan is first on his list. In hunting around for some info on the fights, we came across an 18 pc. set of vids at Youtube.
In this particular set, number 5 appeared to be what we were seeking. Now, there are a lot of pros and cons to this video. On the down side, our narrator comes off as some sort of elitist raider and even though the vid is listed as a “guide,” that’s stretching the term to it’s limit.
On the up side, if you pay attention to the video running behind our narrator, his comments seem to take on a sarcastic form of humor. It does appear to be nothing more than an all-out dps slug fest. Admittedly, we know nothing about the group running. Although there did not seem to be any concern for strats. boss abilities or bad stuff, perhaps there was. Hard to say at this point.
It’s also hard to say what it exactly is about these vids, that tipped the scale for Dufit to actually que for it this morning. Far from being an actual “guide,” perhaps they simply pushed a long time desire/dream into action. Perhaps, with 24 other peeps around, not a whole lot can go wrong unless he gets really stupid and dies. IDK? Overall and even knowing that raiding holds a certain amount of serious business, it just looked like a fun thing to do. 🙂
A bit later on in the set of vids, our narrator does make one comment that strikes home. In essence he says, if you’re new to raiding and want to learn, LFR is a good place to practice and hone your skills. Maybe it was that which turned the tide?
Oh, and about this mornings’ que? Never really got off the ground. Maybe cause we’re an early daytime player, maybe cause this far into the expansion most folks have already done this raid dozens of times. Whatever, the que never filled a group out. Tomorrow is another day.
