One Out and One In

Kanara had been released from the crew. The Orc wasn’t making it as a Warlock, something about her just didn’t seem to fit.

So in stepped Nokila. Very young as yet, but quite devious under the surface. Beneath her Blood Elf charm and beauty, she has this sinester little laugh while she’s setting you on fire and tossing shadow bolts. This Horde crew runs a tight ship, so she’ll have to really prove herself.

Other somewhat exciting news. Yesterday I noticed that Blizz was downloading 21 gigs of information. The downloader said it was for a coming update. Hmmmm? 21 gigs? Makes me wonder if it’s the Theramore lead in for Mists. I think it is getting to be about that time. Maybe? Usually I don’t notice these background downloads, but things were acting kind of hinky in game, which did get my attention.

Dangerous taxi rides. No wonder he’s called Therm, the Hope Ender

Don’t you just love it when strange, unexpected things brighten your day?

Busy Times

There have been some rather busy times for some of the crew this past week. Everyone has their respective professions at or above their level, finally. Some will have to age a bit before they can continue the profession project.

That means hitting the questing road. Thdoria headed for the Outlands at level 58. A bit early perhaps since she did’nt have flight just yet, but she needed those herbs to continue her alchemy skills. She found out soon enough that a simple ground mount to gather flowers was a bit dangerous in this new land.

Dangers of flower picking in Outland

After a few quests though, she quickly hit level sixty to gain flight training. Quite happy, and relieved! 🙂

Yea! Time to learn flight.

She also worked quite a bit on her archaeology. During a recent dig, she came upon this unfortunate soul. Guess he angered the ogre’s, or maybe they just got hungry?

Was anger or hunger the downfall?

Dufit, in the meantime, was aging rather quickly by zone hopping the Cataclysm. His enchanting was suffering a bit since he could’nt DE all those green drops from mob kills. During his adventures, he came across some sort of assistant flight master. Curious, he struck up a conversation with him. The Troll was quite eager to share his wisdom on the pleasures of war.

Bombs or heavy Orcs!

But then the big ding went off, and he was more than ready to hit up those dailys.

Happy Goblin!

Dufit is now running the coarse of both Firelands and Tol Barad dailys. Happily, his enchanting is back on coarse at level.

Enjoy your weekend!

Lunchtime?

🙂 More or less. Taking a short break for some un-expected pizza arrival.

Ay has been semi-busy this morning. A few Firelands dailys just for the fun of it, and some archaeology digging in Uldum. Kind of works out with the mining and camel hunting there. Those camel thingies are really small, hard to see for me. Even with NPCScan going off, it’s still a bit of a hunt, lol.  One thing I did do to help though. A little suggestion from WoW Rare Spawns if I remember correctly. Turn on Friendly names and units in your interface. I happen to use Tidy Plates for nameplates as well. This way, those little camels wind up with great big nameplates above them! Mawhahaha! Gottcha!!!

They are tiny!

Even from a distance, I can spot their nameplates much easier now.

Archaeology: Ay has been picking and poking at it, with several rare finds in the works. Uldum was being kinda sparse though and not giving up much until today. Five, count them, FIVE digsites! Enough to just about finish off the rare piece he’d been digging up for several weeks now.

Now then, dummie me not being able to remember things often enough, thought I was working on a fancy staff of sorts. After all, it did begin with “Scepter” in it’s name. LOL! Imagine my surprise when I added one of those rune sticks to finish the find, and this is what I came into:

OMG! It’s a mount!

The shock was like……..well, it was a good kind of shock.

In other news. Thdoria turned 30 yesterday, and is doing quite well for herself.

As she is…

…and in Shadow form.

Yeppers, she’s moving right along now and looking promising. About time to try some dungeons out.

Now, if I could only catch up on my reading. Having those few days away really backed up on me, lol.
